An Entertainment First at Lovebox
For all the festival lovers out there that can’t make it out this weekend, one of London’s popular music festivals, Lovebox, will be broadcast live into living rooms across Europe. Xbox LIVE will be streaming the event in several countries including the UK, with appearances by artists including Plan B, Kelis, John Newman, Scrufizzer, Oddisee, Mykki Blanco and Sam and the Womp. This partnership marks the first ever Lovebox broadcast on a game console, with plans for more entertainment to come on Xbox Live.
Viewers who tune in will also be able to shape the show from their sofas through interactive voting on the Xbox Live dash, and can also get involved via Twitter by using the #XboxLovebox hashtag, with the best tweets appearing on-screen throughout the show.
BBC Radio 1’s Alice Levine and The Voice of Ireland’s Eoghan McDermott will present live and uncensored from the festival, going backstage to give fans access to some of the music world’s biggest stars and ground-breaking acts.
