Bing Predicts tackles the Premier League table

It’s nearing the end of the football season for another year, so with less than a month’s worth of games remaining, we thought it was about time we took another look at how Bing Predicts sees the last few matches playing out this weekend, and what that will mean for the final league table come 24th May.

And here it is, with Chelsea topping the league, followed by Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool.

Now you might think that Chelsea is already a sure-fire winner, and the bottom three look set to go down, but with hundreds of thousands of pounds at stake for the positions in-between, there’s still plenty here to play for, including a top-3 finish for Man U and a trip to Europe for Liverpool.

Ever since November, Bing Predicts has been taking a close look at online and social sentiment, search trends and historical data surrounding the Premier League to help predict the outcomes of each week’s matches. And back in February we brought those predictions to Cortana, your very own personal assistant from Microsoft.
