Chelsea will beat Arsenal in the North London derby this weekend, Bing predicts
Arsenal fans hoping to see their team pick up their first three points of the season will be disappointed, according to Bing’s latest predictions.
Microsoft’s search engine has calculated that Maurizio Sarri’s Blues will emerge victorious from the North London derby against the Gunners in front of their home supporters at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Chelsea have won five of their last six home Premier League matches against Arsenal, with the exception of a 0-0 draw last season. If the result proves to be true, then this will be the first season that Arsenal have started with two defeats since 1992/93.
The first London derby on the Saturday will also, according to Bing, see Tottenham defeat Fulham, giving Mauricio Pochettino’s men their second win of the season.
Fulham are hoping to end Spurs’ run of 18 consecutive home Premiere League victories against teams that have been promoted, while Harry Kane will be looking for his first Premier League goal in August.
Elsewhere in the table, Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United are all slated to win their respective matches against Huddersfield, Crystal Palace and Brighton.
All three losing teams will be joining Arsenal and Cardiff (who are predicted to lose against Newcastle), with zero points in the bottom end of the table.
Jose Mourinho’s team is still expected to win, despite the fact that Sergio Romero, Antonio Valencia, Diogo Dalot, Marcos Rojo, Ander Herrera or Nemanja Matic are not expected to return from injuries in time to be match-fit.
Bing creates its predictions using a complex algorithm that analyses player performance.
