Chelsea will be crowned Premier League champions on Friday, Bing predicts

Chelsea will be crowned Premier League champions on Friday by beating West Brom, Bing has predicted.

The Blues, who have been at the top of the table for most of the season, have an 80% chance of beating The Baggies at The Hawthorns. Antonio Conte’s men will go into the match with confidence, thanks to their previous three-nil win against Middlesbrough, and second-placed Spurs’ loss to West Ham last week.

Having beaten West Brom 15 times out of their last 21 meetings (with three draws), it’s more than likely that Chelsea fans will be celebrating over the weekend, as their team win the Premier League title for the fifth time.

Tottenham, who need Chelsea to slip up to keep their title hopes alive, have a 71% chance of defeating Manchester United at White Hart Lane on Sunday, cementing their second-place position.

Below them, Liverpool and Manchester City are expected to remain in third and fourth place respectively, with expected victories against Leicester and West Ham.

Arsenal will play two games over the next week. Their first match against Southampton is slated to be a draw (41% chance), while their second against Stoke City should see them gain three points. This will be enough to see the Gunners overtake Manchester United into fifth place.

Leicester City, Burnley and Watford are all expected to drop points this weekend. Burnley are expected to draw against Bournemouth, while the Watford are predicted to lose to Everton.

Elsewhere, positions remain unchanged, including the bottom three teams in the relegation zone – Hull, Middlesbrough and Sunderland.

Bing creates its predictions using a complex algorithm that analyses player performance.
