Forza Horizon 4 studio to livestream new expansion pack – Fortune Island
The UK studio behind Forza Horizon 4 will livestream the first expansion pack for the hugely popular driving game this week.
Playground Games will take viewers on a detailed tour of Fortune Island on December 13 to coincide with its official launch.
Forza Horizon 4 is the latest title in the popular open-world racing series and the best-selling of the games so far. In Fortune Island, players will experience remote, Northern parts of the UK, including cliffside roads, forests, the largest paved mountain switchback road in any Forza Horizon game and a sunken village.
Gamers must also solve riddles to track down treasure chests scattered across the island, which will unlock credit and new vehicles.
There will be more cross-country and asphalt races as well as drift zones, PR stunt events and a new storyline: Drift Club 2.0. However, drivers will be challenged by new weather features including storms, high winds and lightning, while the Aurora Borealis will also make an appearance.
Fortune Island will also let players collect 10 new vehicles: the 2019 Lamborghini Urus, the 2018 BMW M5, the 2017 Ram 1500 Rebel TRX Concept, the 2002 Koenigsegg CC8S, the 2018 Exomotive Exocet Off-Road, the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador J, the 2010 Saleen S5S Raptor, the 1953 Morris Minor Series II Traveler, the 2018 Funco Motorsports F9 and the 2015 Hoonigan GYMKHANA 8 Ford Fiesta ST RX43.
Fortune Island can be purchased for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC on December 13, and is included for players who own the Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate Edition, Ultimate Add-Ons Bundle, or Expansion Bundle. In addition, Xbox Game Pass subscribers are eligible for 10% off a standalone purchase of Fortune Island or 10% off each bundle.
Tune into Playground Games’ livestream on Mixer or Twitch at 3pm on that day to find out more.
