Four tips to help you get started with Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams is a collaboration tool used by hundreds of thousands of businesses across the world.
The Office 365 program brings together chat, meetings, calling, files and apps in a shared workspace, and is being used by companies such as Air France, McAfee, GE and Linde.
A free version was made available in 40 languages earlier this year for teams of up to 300 people.
Here, we show you some basic tips to help you get started with Teams and make your job easier.
How to filter your activity feed
In Microsoft Teams, select Activity to see your Activity feed – a summary of everything that’s happened in the team channels you follow. Select the Filter icon and then choose what type of notifications you want to see.
How to organise your teams list
In Microsoft Teams, select Favourite next to the channel name to favourite a channel. To reorder your teams, select Teams, then click and drag the team name anywhere in your teams list.
How to save a post or message
To save a message or post in Microsoft Teams, select Save message just to the right of the text. To see a list of your saved messages, select your profile picture at the top of the app, then choose Saved. Or type /saved in the command box at the top of the screen.
