Future Decoded 2019: in pictures
Microsoft has welcomed thousands of visitors to London’s ExCeL for Future Decoded, the company’s largest event in the UK.
Journalists, analysts, business leaders and technology fans took part in two days of keynotes and breakout sessions from industry experts, networking opportunities and a hands-on expo to help them uncover how to use the latest technology trends.
Cindy Rose, Microsoft UK Chief Executive, used her keynote to share the view that technology was a great enabler, shaping workplaces across industries and improving lives. Peggy Johnson, Microsoft’s Executive Vice-President of Business Development, said that while technology is moving fast, it is bringing opportunities for companies to transform and people to learn new skills. Lucas Joppa, Microsoft’s Chief Environmental Officer, spoke about how technology can help the world tackle fundamental challenges such as growing populations, access to clean water and climate change.
