Manchester United will keep pressure on City after beating Liverpool, Bing predicts

The race for the Premier League title will remain tight this weekend, with Bing predicting that Manchester United and Manchester City will win their respective matches.

Jose Mourinho’s men have a 43% chance of defeating Liverpool at Anfield, with a 25% chance of a draw. United’s victory could also see them take top spot in the table, if they finish the weekend with a better goal difference than their rival’s, which is currently one goal better.

City, though, won’t be resting on their laurels. Facing Stoke, Pep Guardiola’s squad have been given a 89% chance of emerging victorious. If Raheem Sterling continues his form and finds the back of the net, it’s very likely that the team will remain ahead of their Mancunian rivals on goal difference.

Elsewhere in the table, the majority of teams are expected to hold their current positions.

For Tottenham, this means their predicted victory against Bournemouth will keep them in third place with 17 points – one point ahead of Chelsea, who are expected to beat bottom-placed Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Directly below Chelsea, London rivals Arsenal will be looking to breach the top four. Currently level on points with Chelsea, the Gunners could climb up to fourth place if they score enough goals in their expected win against Watford.

Further down the table, Leicester should move up to 15th place if their predicted win against West Brom comes to fruition.

Swansea, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace, on the other hand, will all remain in the relegation zone, thanks to their respective losses against Huddersfield, Spurs and Chelsea.

Bing creates its predictions using a complex algorithm that analyses player performance.
