Spurs to knock Chelsea out of the top four this weekend, Bing predicts

Tottenham fans celebrating after last weekend’s win against Arsenal could have another reason to celebrate come Sunday, Bing has predicted.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men have been given a 67% chance of beating Crystal Palace away this Sunday. If Microsoft’s search engine proves to be correct in its prediction, we could very well see Spurs re-enter the top four.

Chelsea, who are at the time of writing, one point above Tottenham in fourth place, are set to lose against second-placed Manchester United – albeit with only a 45% chance of a loss.

Jose Mourinho’s team have only won one of their last 14 matches against the Blues in all competitions – which coincidentally happened to be this precise fixture last season, where they won 2-0.

Arsenal, on the other hand, look likely to remain stagnant in sixth place with 45 points, after their predicted defeat against first-placed Manchester City.

If the outcome is as expected, former Arsenal player Robert Pires’ recent comments stating that the Europa League is the club’s only realistic chance of qualifying for the Champions League, could well be true.

Elsewhere in the table, Liverpool’s strongly-expected win against West Ham will keep them in third place, while Brighton is the only other club expected to move up the table (from 14th to 12th place), after their predicted victory at home against Swansea.

Newcastle’s loss against Bournemouth on Saturday will see them join Chelsea and West Ham as the only three teams to drop down a position in the table, while the bottom three positions – held by Southampton, Stoke and West Brom – remain unchanged – despite the latter’s expected win against Huddersfield Town.
